INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

Clients must be between 23 - 69 years of age – if 70, or over, hirers may arrange their own insurance.

A current driving licence must be presented. We cannot hire a vehicle to anyone who has been disqualified from driving within the last five years - see sections a – d on the acceptance form and terms and conditions 1 – 9. ACCIDENT DAMAGE EXCESS £400 - refundable upon return of the vehicle undamaged, at the agreed return-time, and appropriately refuelled.  N.B. Any damage MUST be reported immediately by telephone.

PAYMENT - cheques, travellers’ cheques – sterling - cash or euros. There is a Clydesdale Bank at Tobermory - 20 miles from Craignure and various banks in Oban - 45 minutes crossing time by Calendondian MacBrayne ferry.
